As long as his reasoning is mostly in place and he can remember things for long enough to get an understanding of what they’re asking him and then give an answer I think that’s in the clear. There’s no requirement of informed consent that you remember giving it.

I took Psych and never heard about this case. That does suck , That’s the only problem with science sometimes, you are making new discoveries and on the cutting edge of everything, but at what cost? At least he’s in peace now.
